its a shame game doesnt have built in options to do run ai turns at a faster speed modifier.
Well your number one enemy is gonna be stability, speed hacks tend to lead to more CTDs especially if you have a weaker rigg
And then sometimes some games start behaving differently
To answer your question it helped alot, the waiting really bored me.

edit: also thank you Muscarine, your post hadn't cleared when I replied. See what happens. Worth a try if it just reduces that feeling that I'm watching the AI play itself.
And just to say I've not had any noticeable issues so far, but limited time using it obviously. (AMD 1600x, GTX 1080, latest Win 10 slow ring insider build.)
