Wished it was a shooter
I'm still gonna get it, the idea of a 40k game exploring the underhive and its gangs is super interesting.

I think it would be a perfect type of setting for a fun FPS game with a ♥♥♥♥ load of customization but I'll take what I can get. Let's hope it's good!

If it was a shooter i doubt if there would be many sales
I'd not want it if it was a shooter.

The best WH40k shooter so far was Space marine. And it was still mediocre.
SH/DW and EC were just wasted potential.
I think we cannot expect anything good for wh40k except middle/low budget strategy games.
Good shooter would require some good, big cash and big companies have their own well known IPs to invest into something risky as wh40k.
Thus said I am really fine with turn based Necromunda.

I doubt that, it'd definitely be a setting for an incredibly interesting game. Plus Warhammer can fit any type of game genre which is the beauty of it. I just wish it had more FPS type action games since we really haven't gotten any since space marines and fire warrior.
i doubt ur doubts

I wouldn't like it if it was a shooter. It would be super linear and have almost no replay value. That being said, if they did some type of hybrid genre where it's like a third-person shooter and strategy, that could be fun.

Overwatch doesn't have the gritty aesthetic and raw violent potential that 40k has

The warhammer 40K world has more then enough lore to make that possible and a Fallout like game in a hive has huge potential but it also needs GW's support and mods.

"Shooter" in the sense that you CAN play it like a shooter (like fallout, so more a special kind of rpg) sounds cool given the setting, but thats a given because a game that uses the fallout formula and is competently made (not like f4) is great regardless of the setting ^^ 40k has a lot to offer though, so I would be especially hyped if a fallout-esque game was being made in that universe, but until I see it with my own eyes I am not even going to think about it further, because it sounds too good and will probably not happen in the near future
