SH/DW and EC were just wasted potential.
I think we cannot expect anything good for wh40k except middle/low budget strategy games.
Good shooter would require some good, big cash and big companies have their own well known IPs to invest into something risky as wh40k.
Thus said I am really fine with turn based Necromunda.
Necromunda: Shooter/looter
Necromunda: RPG
necromunda: MMO
Necromunda: Grand Strategy
Necromunda: Tetris
Necromunda: Puzzles
:)
I doubt that, it'd definitely be a setting for an incredibly interesting game. Plus Warhammer can fit any type of game genre which is the beauty of it. I just wish it had more FPS type action games since we really haven't gotten any since space marines and fire warrior.
Overwatch doesn't have the gritty aesthetic and raw violent potential that 40k has
The warhammer 40K world has more then enough lore to make that possible and a Fallout like game in a hive has huge potential but it also needs GW's support and mods.
