The other solution opens the gate to your left, where you go into Fort Garenden.
I agree that the block puzzle is hellish. I like logical puzzles same as anybody but this puzzle is seriously convoluted. I think solving it will be a matter of luck because I've spent too much time on it following all the likely parameters regarding the door signs. I cannot believe that once solved it will appear logical in any way.
Rather spoils the game I'm afraid 😐😐😐😐
Suggestion: while looking at the cog puzzle, hit escape (aim your mouse so it doesnt hide the puzzle), so it pauses the game. This gives you time to think about how to solve it without the fire rain coming down on you.
The block puzzle there was easy I thought, just repetitive. Just realize that the two blocks inside the gate and one of the ones in that southern spot have to go the long way around the puzzle (in a clockwise direction) to get to where they need to go (which are the three spots on the right of the puzzle with the gate that has two blocks behind it to your right). Now for each of those, when you get to that top left corner, you have to push that corner block out so you can get in behind it and push the other block. Hard to describe it without drawing a pic. It's an easy puzzle, just tedious. IMHO
No, the big hut like one in the forest that comes after the lowlands (through the tunnel). Only a couple directions you can leave it from. Toward the sea
Sorry, this is totally incomprehensible. Is there anywhere a picture drawn or can you try to rephrase this ? I am totally lost with this unlogical block puzzle :-/
Which of the floor buttons have to be pressed ?
I have even brought every of the 7 blocks to any button but neither gate ever opened.
