code wheel ?
Theres a digital code wheel to solve puzzles does anyone know how we get this item . does it come in email? want to get it before game start.

The code wheel is not used to solve anything. It's simply a joke item that you can print out for yourself. Games used to have a lot of very weird copy protection methods back in the day, the code wheel was one such method.

The code wheel can definatly be used to solve some things in game. There are some altars where you can use it to get the solution, now how many of those there are i have no idea.

Do you have an actual source on that? Because i've seen a post from one of the developers saying otherwise.

Besides watching it beeing used on stream like 20 mins ago no i don't have any other source.

That's actually cool if it's true. No idea why a developer said otherwise. Is it the only way to solve those puzzles? Did the puzzle have any actual reward or was it just fluff?

This puzzle in particular rewared the streamer with 300 gold, So I guess the code wheel does have some use, but nothing necessary / mandatory.

It was from one of the altars without an actual riddle attrached to it, but one it says give an offering. The code wheel when used correctly gives you a Nr, the Nr is used with the Almanac you find in game to see what items you need to "Offer"

When done correclty he got a Torch of Blazing something. It was trinket he could equip.

It's quite early in the game so for all i know it might only be that one altar that uses it.

its part of the game extras you print and assemble it to get codes that are than matched to a ingame book for items you give pillars for rewards i wondering when and how we get the extra digital items from edition do them come in an email or is there a download for them iam missing thanks for the info

Mostly extra digital items through steam are downloaded to a map in the gamefolder. Not sure though were that folder will be, but if it is like other games soundtracks it will easy to find.

This is weird overall. The backers are supposed to get a second key for all the extras, at least according to that comment on kickstarters that everyone keeps linking. People who buy the more expensive editions here on steam get access to them right away. So the people who buy it on steam will get access to the extras before the backers who made the game possible in the first place, since we didn't receive our keys yet. It's nice to feel appreciated i guess :steamfacepalm:

You get an email from crowdox, provided you actually completed your backer survey.

In this email will be a pile of downloads - including a PDF that will contain an unlock code. You plug this into the gameplay options screen, and this enables your unlocks.

The code wheel comes as a PDF with instructions on how to print out, cut, and assemble it. I recommend you have one of those precision knife/scalpal things available.

The wheel goes with a book you find in-game. This book maps the numbers on the code wheel to items in-game.
