Speaking of that puzzle, the sliding blocks with steps on top, were you able to loot the *upper* chest? I was able to loot the *lower* chest but the upper chest seems like it is out of reach.
That said, everything I've opened on Stronsea/Rookery area, including chests that require lockpicks and master pickpicks, has resulted in total junk. Usually more wood, or even worse, more gold (~150g) which I can't spend on anything useful.
Feels like there was a loot table that is set incorrectly to award too much loot early on, and once awarded there's nothing left later in the game, so you end up with gold gold wood sugar gold etc.
And yes, even the locked chests are completely random, with the exception of things like the puzzle weapon chests in Inshriach.
As the op states;
One at the top of the frozen tower on the beach.
One in the tower before the church.
One in the tower with a block puzzle that have blocks with stairs stacked on top of 2 of the blocks.
I spent a long time looking for the one middleman.one is referring to and while there are secrets there, the key isn't there.
