Anyone actually regularly crafting items ?

I feel like crafting is supposed to be a huge part of the game, but I'm lvl 11 now and have crafted a keg, some booze, inks for that quest, and a couple of lockpicks. That's it. And I have almost 2 inventory screens-worth of crafting supplies.
Does it get better ? Do we get options for more interesting crafting options eventually ?

Just booze for Bard and lockpicks. Used to craft a lot of food too early game, but later I don't need it anymore

I'm not too far in, just returned to the 'Under Brae' with the 3 helpers and have only crafted some lockpicks and some Trow booze (or what ever it's called).

It's an easy system to craft with, that's nice. Elven Weapons are great to craft. Some challanges require crafting. General items like you mentioned, some food, wine for sure, that's about it.

lockpicks and caltrops is pretty much it for me. I don't mess with crafting food as I'd rather just eat cabbages for 6 health a shot and they're relatively cheap from the cabbage guy.

Squeezn's, picks, food (esp the multi-ingredient stuff for big heal to avoid saving), and the rare healing potion. I also like the crafting system, it's just not terribly useful given the game mechanisms is all.

The other potions are kind of useless, given how they take up the trinket space. Never used one, don't plan to [so far]. The puzzle weapons are interesting, but kind of "meh" rewarding so I haven't even bothered using my gems to craft one; ones I find are meh-enough to cover that aspect.

as far as i see the craft system it is really there just to be part of the puzzles that have offerings as some of the stuff for those you probably cannot get at all without creating them. the few useful creates are lockpicks and alcohol for the bard. the elven weapons have a couple nice creates though yes eventually they will be outclassed it seems. i would guess if someone used the bile bombs in combat that would be necessary to craft but if not there are plenty it seems just for knocking down the walls that are had with it.
