Master Thief

I got Master Thief yesterday. I love the comments my rogue says at it steals from the vendor.

I do wish this ability told you what he stole as he clearly doesn't steal anything you were buying based on the numerous times my gold was spent.

My assumption is he steals something you bought, but the game is glitched so you don't get the gold back. Thankfully gold is a minor concern.

It varies, but mostly when it triggers I don't pay for what I bought, sometimes my rouge still gold, or another item. I have some of the best gear from city vendors, and still have 3k gold or what ever the coin is

If I remember correctly the in game text for the skill says that the rogue has a chance to steal all of the items you purchase from a vendor rather than paying for them when you hit confirm. If you are seeing that your gold is decreasing whenever you hear him say he has nicked something from the vendor, then it's not working the way the skills says it should. It seems more like he is stealing some, but not all, of the items when he says something.

The only thing that annoyed me is how many times I had to go to the shop to steal a Visiphone. I did eventually get it though, but locking the "save anywhere" item behind a steal mechanic is kind of a weird.

Yeah I hear the "I stole something line" all the time but it never gives you anything extra and it always remove your gold, I checked it like 100 times, I reported it as a bug, I am surprised no one else has noticed it

It worked for me numerous times. I stole everything from the three vendors from Skara Brea with only 5k gold in my pockets and left them empty still having 5k myself.

Did report it too, its definitely not working for me. the gold is not refunded if it triggers off, sound and animation all triggers correct beside the refund of gold.

Where did you get that? I never saw anything like that at the vendors.

I have been able to get this to work a few times. I did reload a few times just to see it was working. Basically depending on how much gold You have. Depends on how many items you can purchase. When you click Confirm on a purchase, if you hear your Rogue say something like, Ive been naughty and took a little extra. It means you got All the items and have all your gold back.
