From memory the red sides order is on the front of the bell skulls and the blue sides order is on the back. Once you match them all a lever will raise in the centre pool part of the room.
Pull the lever and the skulls on the swords raise to certain points of the swords, now you ring the bells in accordance with the height points of the sword skulls, highest skull meaning highest bell.
Having the same problem here. After defeating the boss the quest completes, but there's no further dialogue, no item drops, nothing... even though the entire reason I went into the tower is to find the shadow snare, which is now nowhere to be found without any explanation.
If the skulls correspond to 12345 in order from left to right:
1 3 2 4 5 2 4 3 4 5
Holy sheet, thanks for that!
Is this doable? I'm assuming at least Grodel finished this quest. Also, should it be killable (despite the higher combat rating on the creatures) if you're able to complete the whole rest of the tower?
