The humour of "Bard's Tale" series gone ?
I've watched a few vids of gameplay.
Where's the self-deprecating humour and tongue-in-cheek 4th wall breaking?

From what I've seen so far, this looks like a standard dungeon crawler that happens to have the Bard's Tale name thrown on, or am I completely off base here?

That said, this game is nothing like Bards Tale III either.

The original Bards Tale games (1-3) had humour in the character designs and some names (e.g. Dork ring) but broadly speaking were not known for it. The 2004 game on the other hand had plenty of humour but I don't think most people felt it was a 'proper' Bards Tale game.

Well there was a soup nazi joke on the first map. And a couple of jokes on signage. But not the over the top humor of the spin off.

The humor is there.

You see a glimpse of it at some points, but it's like 0,5% of The Bard's Tale from 2004. Immensely disappointed, because that was the thing that many people including me really wanted from this game.
