How do I talk to Rabbie?

The first starting quest is to talk to Rabbie. I am standing in front of him, below the stage.
I use WASD to move, but there is no control to talk to him, or any other action key.
The mouse does not seems to work either.

What am I missing? How do I talk to a person?

Just try different ways until you figure it out or watch a walkthrough of the game on Youtube.

You should be able to click on him normally.

When you get a special symbol (forget what it looks like) as you are facing and close to a person/thing, you can left-click to interract (at least that was how it works for me, with the default settings).
