building animation

Hello yesterday the game was fine and then today there is no animations for the building. I delete the game and reinstall but the same bug occurs. I don't know what to do.

What buildings are being effected? All of them, or just some of them?

Have you updated your video card's drivers?

same happened to me - BUT first, all the buildings animations were perfectly fine, EXCEPT for the stupid urchin quay, the animation wasn't just invisible/inactive while the building still did its job, no the whole urchin fishing was stuck.
so i downloaded that famous patch, and then the urchin quay worked again. i was real happy... until i noticed that NOW, a lot of buildings LOST their animation, they're like empty - but they still work luckily, it's just annoying.
stupid crap patch, now i can replace the zeus.exe with my backup, it still doesn't work :( what am i supposed to do? i can live with no urchins, but playing the game with half of the animations missing is no fun :/
and it seems reinstalling doesn't fix things, i've read it a few times

Solution: restart your computer. There's a bug where building animations stop working if your computer has been turned on for too long. Restarting it resets some internal counter so they start working again.

thank you, it kinda happened as i shut off my computer anyways! and sorry for dissing the patch since it wasn't the issue.. orz
