Nothing available. Empty room.

Just purchased the game. I start in an empty room, no items at all are shown when i press the trigger, it just says *ALL*.. I'm able to bring up the menu that says Save, Load, etc, but only the Exit button does anything..What am i doing wrong?

EDIT: Okay i'm able to pull up the tools and lay down track, but the inventory menu refuses to show up. I get the spiral, but when i press the trigger no items come up. i've twisted the controller in every way possible..

While we investigate what might have gone wrong, can you do us a giant favor and restart Trainscape? And please let us know if you still see an empty room or not. Thank you.

Following up on this topic. Unfortunately it doesn't appear the server has logged any activity related to your account for that very first login. It could be that the internet connection was unstable at that very moment. After a few more restarts the Starter Kit finally generated. Thanks again for your help and keep up the great work, can't wait for more content.

I'm having the same issue now. had the game a few months now.
My track and objects are still built on the table, but nothing in the inventory now.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. Can you confirm that you have any Trainscape items inside your Steam Inventory while viewing it in the Steam client?

Currently all individual items are hosted on Steam. The game calls Steam to retrieve a list of items owned by your user ID. For example, the content inside your Starter Kit. If you have previously placed objects on the table, if those objects are highlighted red, then that means those objects are no longer reported by Steam. In this case, we will dig into your account to troubleshoot.

Meanwhile, you can use the remote control on the door to enter Sandbox Mode. It has all the same functionalities as Normal Mode expect you would have access to all the content that's released to-date!

I too have what I guess is an empty room. There are no buttons to push or anything to interreact to. After starting the game the first time I got a starter kit and a bunch of extra boxes. I have no idea how to activate these. I've retarted the game a couple of dozen times . Reset Steam and reset my computer to no avail.I've tried right clicking on everything on scree. I tried left clicking. I've tried clicking o both. I've jumped up and down and called it names. No reaction.
I must be doing something wrong. Probably something simple But I can't figure it out.
Any ideas?
