Go into options and set auto-equip to never.
Don't try to find dinner boys if you have other classes unlocked already because you'll drive yourself bonkers refreshing so many times.
The best time to do this is at the start of a fresh dimension before you even do a single run in the dungeon. You should do it every dimension after you meet the requirements to get dinner boys because the Forks are quite powerful for dimension progression.
If you're in warrior dimension already and just trying to get the achievement, get the taps upgrade and turn all other classes off so nothing but soda junkies are spawning in the tavern.
P,S, The only way to tell if a soda junkie at a table is actually a dinner boy is to open the hire window so you can see if it's named dinner boy and has a fork and bib equipped. Otherwise, they're completely identical to soda junkies.
Best bet is to reset your dungeon, so you have no sodas bought, and then you'll only have soda junkies. Just keep resetting (AND make sure the auto equip is turned OFF), and you'll get it after about a dozen resets. Also note, the name changes before you even hire them, so no need to hire the soda junkies to check.
