Anyhoo, you need to speed past through Warrior's Dimension ASAP.
Just follow this newbie guide here...
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=860700114
Don't bother getting any soda past thief, healer and knight until wariror dimension. You won't need any classes other than those 3 to progress so any sodas past them are pure wasted gold.
Don't stay in any dimension for a long time past opening the portal to the next dimension. Time spent "farming" in any dimension past that point actually slows your progression overall. If you're close to an upgrade and you would loose a chunk of gold otherwise then go ahead and do a quick run to finish that upgrade. Just don't try to fill in tavern or hit relic levels with multiple runs.
Don't waste any essence on class relics. Wait for darkmage relic which you get for entering warrior dimension.
You should upgrade your stools and tables to max and your kitchens to level 7 in dimensioon 1 or 2 and then get dinner boys for the forks at every dimension reset after that. It's actually "best" to go ahean and run 1 or 2 extra dungeon runs at the end of dimension 1 to finish lvl 7 kitchens so you have forks at the start of dimension 2 but if you missed it then don't worry, just finish stools tables and lvl 7 kitchen in dimension 2 and get forks starting at dimension 3.
The relics you want to work on first are attack, hit points and gold find.
- Attack is a guaranteed damage increase.
- Hit points help you survive longer by being able to take more damage AND increasing your healer's healing. You also need to increase your healers healing to be able to ebat lvl 400 boss easier.
- Gold find just makes everything upgrade faster and is by far the most important relic.
Crit chance relic should come after those 3. Using your forks and some demon armor, you'll be criting the majority of the time without the crit relic. The point of the crit relic is to make it possible to reach 100% crit chance. However, you can't get to 100% until your crit relic is level 20-25. You shouldn't be reaching that level on relics early enough for it to make it worth getting crit relic before attack, hit points or gold find.
So you often say, but that guide is older than your TL;DR posts on here and it worked perfectly fine for me so please stop being such a know it all wall p0osting jerk :P
I often say it because it's true.
If you honestly think that me providing better information to counter the flaws in a bad guide that keeps confusing people is being a "know it all wall p0osting jerk", then I guess you'll just have to deal with it.
You CAN follow that guide, and it WILL get you to the warrior dimension. You'll get there faster by following the changes I listed.
You need the knight in the party to avoid traps and ambushes, but he's not very reliable for damage because he uses his weak area attack that can't crit when there are 3 or 4 targets instead of single hitting with a crit. That is why you put him in last spot because there is less chance of having more than 2 monsters alive when he goes.
Healer you need in first spots so if someone needs a heal, they'll prioritize healing at the start of the round instead of a pure damager attacking and killing the last thing alive leaving your hurt party member without a heal. More than 2 healers is overdoing it though because if you need that many heals, your healers will jsut end up chain healing and prolonging a finished run.
Thieves are better than healers for damage with slightly higher base attack. They also have a second accessory slot and some extra item find. Getting to open all 3 chests every boss is nice as well. Since the extra accessory slot and item find benefits stack up with more thieves, it's a good idea to take at least the 2 of them. Bring 3 if you're not too worried about a boss overwhelming your single healer.
