Then bring attack, magic damage, and dark mage relic up to 1/2 of your gold relic level. You can level mana relic too if you want, it's in the damage calculation for dark mage but lower benefit than other 3.
Once you hit 1 billion gold per kill, stop leveling gold relic and just level the others because you're only getting 1 billion per kill with auto-convert to cap no matter what.
So what about items:

misc:fuzzy dice/ vaan's magnet/ring of riches
magic damage:
weapon: stick of truth
armor: bearsuit

Straight essence find has no benefit past 100% (85% + base 15%) but weirdly, essence find GEAR specifically has benefits that add to the +1 per 200 level increase.

and i'm nowhere near 1B per kill, but I can see myself getting there soon enough with my current token gain.
btw which pet is best?
This is because of all the things pets add, magic crit damage is the only thing that isn't quickly minimized by infinitely increasing relics. Or outright worthless because of being unnecessary.
Maybe if you have the android one that adds item find and you still need to find some mythics.
