Christmas Items

So, I've gotten plenty of "Pine of Pain" Christmas tree weapons but haven't seen anything else yet.

Anyone get any other new seasonal items?

Ah, my item find was too high to find the other stuff. By going to really early dungeons, I've also found:
* snowflake
* gingerbread man
* charity bell
* santa suit
* snow suit
* golden star
with maybe more to come.

If you're not finding anything, reduce your item find chance and/or go to earlier dungeon levels. That certainly did the trick for me.

Don't forget coal. Levels 1-10, and you have to kill 100 enemies with coal to get the shopkeeper to start selling golden coal.

Damn coal is so hard to get to drop. I still need eight to have a full Liquidate set. The other Christmas items I've already have a full Liquidate set of level 10s. Coal is the only item keeping me from 100% the Item encyclopedia.

Do u need high item find for coal?

The Soda Dungeon Compendium says that coal only drops in levels 1 - 10.

If there's a secret to finding extra coal (beyond only doing levels 1-10 as already noted), I can't find it. I've tried high item find, some item find, and no item find. Doesn't seem to make a difference.

I've run 1-10 a LOT and am now up to 4 coal.

Still need seven pieces of coal. It is getting really annoying as I've already got fives on all Christmas weapons, shields and armours and ten each of the Christmas items save for stupid coal :(

RFE: Addendum

Okay, it seems you really ever only get coal by just doing floors 1~10 of both Dungeons as I tested what dacarnix said that they might only ever drop in those first ten floors. Also pumped up my item find chance with level 10 Marvelous Claws, level 10 Candyshell shields, fuzzy dice and had Max Robbie as my pet.

And I can finally quit the game as I've finally accomplished the goals I've set for the game :3

I got eggnog in dimension 1??? I started from the beginning and got an eggnog in dimesion 1. Will it still give me essence?

Yes you can still get the essence on D1 but you won't have access to it until you get to D2.

i had essence items equiped and bought the gnomes to lv 2 on zone 1 .... no essence collected in a whole bunch of runs [when i moved to zone 2 there was no backlog of essence waiting for me]. I had the dungeon going from 1-300 .... so i think no essence in zone 1 ..
