Does The Game End?
I played this on my phone and I loved it. Extremely casual game, but fun nonetheless.

I don't remember how far I made it on my phone before quiting. I believe I went through 2 or 3 portals.

Does this game end? Final boss? Or does it just keep going and going?

no ending in sight
There's an 'ultimate' boss after eight or nine portals, as the game hints. Can't remember exactly how far.

I would say the game has a "soft" ending, but progress through the dungeon is never capped.
Hey, hey, it's the developer! Hey, I loved your game on Android! What are you working on next?

Soda Dungeon mobile save transfer system, then the Soda Dungeon demo, then Soda Dungeon 2 :D

Have you purchased the Magic Clock? It's an upgrade that speeds up dungeon animations.
I'll be keeping an eye out for Soda Dungeon 2, since I already hit the "soft" ending and maxed out the upgrades, bosses, and loot. I really like how SD combines the idle gaming of a clicker with some active party management (not just clicking), and I like your sense of humor -- it's whimsical without being too far out, like a lot of stuff seems to be. Also think the variety in classes is cool.

Sounds like the Steam release is a success then? I know it's early in release so it's too early to judge profits from it, but it does sound like Soda Dungeon 2 is a go, from your message. And over 2,500 peak players today is definitely a good sign.

I just hope that if Steam helped give the go-ahead for Soda Dungeon 2 that it'll also benefit with having the game released on Steam as well.

Steam release seems to have gone well but you're right, we won't know what kind of revenue it will really equate to until the end of the month.

Soda Dungeon on mobile performed well enough that our publisher was interested in funding a sequel anyway, but good performance on Steam will still help cement their stance.

Any hints at what's gonna be "new" in SD2?
