I did a factory reset on my computer and my other game saves were fine but not Pharaoh :(

The game doesnt launch at all. I can run similar titles like age of empire and rise of nations but this game is maybe not optimised for paralells or I am maybe missing from software/requisite plugins? Please help. Thanks

This one is driving me absolutely bananas. I've restarted it multiple times because the game just keeps screwing me over and over again with no break in between to recover.
