Serious Sam: The Third Encounter

It's a pity that the Croteam developers refused to develop Serious Sam: The Third Encounter, if the plot and scenario are known, then why don't the modders develop it ? I saw a video of Serious Sam: The Third Encounter on the Serious Engine 3, and I want to know, is the development coming from the modders ? Or is it silence already ?

The third encounter should be, Sam comes back to stop the mooning of Earth, and rescues Hellfire. (Save Quinn too.)

Of course loads of other stuff happens before he gets to that, wherever he is.

After that Sam could carry on fighting Mental's forces that were so numerous they were over-running Earth. That could be a good tear-up.
