New Fusion Menu Not Showing?

Hey I've recently looked at the patch notes, went through downloading all of the updates and started up the game. I saw that Fusion got its own exclusive menu, in quote
"Fusion now got its own menu and gametitle as default, the game no longer launches with the SS3 menu settings. As such, the SS3 intro now plays when the first level of SS3 is started."
Yet the game still starts up with SS3's intro and grey n' yellow menu. Is there a way to fix this similarly with another menu problem I went through long ago like inputting '+game "SeriousSam3"' in the Steam startup options?

start the game and open the console, then type gt_strGameTitle = "SeriousSam2017"

The available titles should be
gt_strGameTitle = "SeriousSam2017"
gt_strGameTitle = "SeriousSam3"
gt_strGameTitle = "SeriousSamHD_TSE"
gt_strGameTitle = "SeriousSamHD_TFE"

The default value is
gt_strGameTitle = ""

so does gt_strGameTitle = "SeriousSam2017" run the fusion verion of the menu? Is this a fix or must it be run each time you open the game?

Ah, ok. Well in that case I just went to my Library and right clicked the game and went to Properties.
I went to Set Launch Options and simply put
+game "SeriousSam2017"
and that fixed it

it changes the value in SeriousSam2017.ini so it's remembered forever, yes, that's the fusion menu.
by default it's set to gt_strGameTitle = "" so the game chooses a random title whenever you start the game I think. alteast that's what it did for me.

Have you tried restarting the game after you did this?

I cant really download the entire game again, data is very expensive here, really irritating.
