[Ubuntu 17.10] Login credentials

If i run Sam2017 from reminal all i get is a screen where i have to put my login credentials, steam credentials don't work and it doesn't look like croteam has their own authentication system. Can't even go single player.
Running it from steam just causes it to crash the second it starts up
