How do I use the give weapon cheat?

I want to give myself a BFE SBC Cannon, but, it won't work. Any help?

open the console (tilde key ~) and type in the following:

cht_bEnableCheats=2

Then, in-game, go to the ESC menu, and you should be able to access the Cheat Menu. The "Give All" cheat will grant you access to all weapons.

(note: to disable cheats, use the same command, but replace the 2 with a 0)

I already have cheats activated. And I only want a specific weapon, not all.
