[Long] Bugs and features requests
I already made a thread on seriously![forums.seriouszone.com] on the bugs I want to get fixed and features that I want to be added/brought back even before the beta have been released. But I will take the time to rewrite them just to make them more likely to get noticed. And to get input from other player about them since the steam community doesn't overlap the seriouszone.com. Also I will take the risk just to ask for some rebalance requests.

Bugs that need fixn'
Toggle last weapon (Q by default)
I thought I would be fixed on release since BFE got rid off it but it is still here. We cannot swap between single shotgun and grenade launcher and other weapons that takes the bottom slot with Q key. And it is so because to select them we need to click the weapon key twice. The weapon needs some delay before it gets "last equipped" status. It needs to be fully equipped.

Slippery movement
It already has been fixed partially so kudos to you Croteam. And I already have made other thread about the other movement bugs so here you go: http://steamcommunity.com/app/564310/discussions/0/135512133549868817/

Field of view zoom bug
Higher field of view changes the zoom on the sniper rifle. We do not have a zoom weapon in Fusion yet but we will have with TSE and BFE. And this bug is a thing in those games.

Features that need to come back

Bring back "Flip weapon" bind option
Something that was in the Classics. When we clicked it we would change to the other weapon from the same slot. So for example if I'm holding the Rocket Launcher it goes to the Grenade Launcher and so on. It will be helpful especially with the mods that will bring additional weapons that we can switch to.

Bring back walking
Another thing that was present in the Classics. With it we could move slower but the most important feature was that we could be sure that we wouldn't fall off when we would walk to the ledges. We had toggle option too. Giving player more control over the character is always a positive imo.

Respawning in single player - more options in custom difficulty
Basically an option to play with SS2/Xbox life system. I remember using split screen in classics only to play alone with infinite respawns. Allow us to enable respawn in single player with custom number of starting respawns (even infinite for casual play). I would love the option to play with coins from the coin coop in single player. Those options could be also implemented in survival gamemode for casual play (no score recorded of course or maybe different ladder?).

Option to adjust zoom with mouse scroll wheel
Just a little heads up before TSE is released in Fusion. Another feature from the past. I just simply cannot get used to the fact that HD TSE doesn't have it. Every time I get back from the classics I miss that feature. However I understand that some players could prefer to switch weapon directly from the zoom. An option to turn that on and off would be super helpful here.

New features that would be awesome

Option to always trigger secret levels in coop
When playing coop it's hard to coordinate, especially with 16 people. Also there is lag. I think that option that would secure the play trough secret levels would be immensely helpful and would prolong the game sessions. Also the fact we have to unlock the secrets to get to those levels give an incentive to speedrun the level which is imo bad in coop.

Option to unlock all of the levels without cheats
With so many versions of SS (classic/nonsteam classic/Xbox/HD/Revolution plus now Fusion and for some lucky few VR) it is hard to keep all of the versions fully finished. This problem is especially annoying when you have multiple accounts. Please give us an option that would allow us to unlock all of the levels in the single player without using the cheats. It could be behind an additional warning so it would protect the freshmen from doing that by accident. Maybe it could require an answer to the question that only people who have beaten the game would know.

Options to turn off/on damage and hit indicators
When we get hit the screen changes colors and blurs out. When we get hit multiple times this effect get more intense which can be distracting. I would love to turn off those effects. In SS3 however we also have direct hit indicator which shows us from where we took a hit. Please bring that attack indicator to TFE and TSE. Free camera view while dead/spectating
When we are dead (in coin coop for example) the only way we can view the rest of the players is by using their point of view or set cameras around the map. I would love to be able to have direct control over the camera view. Viewing the carnage from the perspective of flying ghost would be amazing and could enable cool videos.

Option to turn off blood on screen
Sometimes when we kill enemies which were close to us the screen is covered in blood. I find it distracting and I would love an option that would allow me to turn off those blood effects.

Option to turn off visual effects of power ups
Serious Damage will have your screen on fire and the Serious Speed will increase you FOV. Can we have an option to turn off these effects?

New features that would be really awesome

Weapon slot switching
Allow us to customize weapon slots. So we can change where we put RL revolvers etc. Some people are too used to Classic weapon positioning and that would help them.

Netricsa in the menu
Put the info about enemies directly to the main menu (could be in extras). I would love to be able to see what enemies does without starting the level and killing them. Additionally Netricsa could be updated with the exact info about enemy HP and DMG of every attack. More accurate info about weapons would be welcome as well (how much dmg one shot deals, DPS, how much ammo it can have etc.). Also info about pick ups and how they work is needed. I don't think that there is an explanation of the armor mechanic (how much dmg it absorbs and what happens when we get hit with 1 armor).

Custom Hud color option.
There is a lot of workshop items in HD that only change the HUD color. It seems like something that could be easily added in the options menu. Also please give the option to turn on the background to the HUD so it is more visible and more similar to HD HUD.

Random player model by default
New players often do not bother to change their player models. And when you play coop with them, all you see is Serious Sam. You got some nice players models and it's a shame people do not use them. This could fix that.

Option to always have gib effect on enemies no matter the weapon
It would be a cool option. Especially when you would use other blood effects.

Tier 2 bugs - visual bugs

Mirrored text on weapon textures
Another thing that I thought will be gone on release. GL and laser gun have text that is flipped on one side. https://i.imgur.com/pQVOhHZ.png

Sinking corpses, underwater bloodstains
When you kill electrofishes underwater they sink instead of floating (they did float in Classics). Also you can make blood stains on the walls of the water reservoir.

Balance changes

Rockets piercing Common Aludran Reptiloid projectiles
Aludran Reptiloids often spawn in distant locations. And their projectiles often shoot down our rockets. They are less of a pain in TSE since we get a sniper rifle. Their mechanic of destroying our rockets is totally random. Some times they will be destroyed sometime they won't. It simply annoying and the player skill doesn't matter. You just need to switch to the minigun/tommygun to kill them without sniper rifle. Otherwise it just feels that you are wasting rockets. Making the RL more viable against them at longer distances would be good just because it would make the player switch from hitscan weapons. It still won't be as good as minigun/toomygun since rockets are slow but it is still something.

Killing Major Biomech/Big Golems in one fully charged cannon ball
I honestly have no idea if this is a bug or not. But sometimes the fully charged cannon kills those enemies and sometimes you just need to finish them off. Is this intentional?

As long as you know the level name, you can change levels without cheating if you do not consider samChangeMap command cheating.

I think this is really a great idea, even though it could be difficult to implement considering different versions of Netricsa in HD and BFE games. As an additional post-release suggestion for the future, it'd be great if BFE Netricsa had some new lore texts (some kind of review or dossier) for any in-game storyline character (Sam, Hellfire, Wilson e.t.c.) with short descriptions and details like full name/gender/age/physical params/rank and short bio.
If anything, it would be great to see it at least in SS4.

If we could get this in literally every FPS game, that'd be great. Bring back health bars in all FPS. ♥♥♥♥ smearing jam on the screen.
I have only one suggestion at the moment: I'd like that good old 'aiming assist' second crosshair that shows where your gun actually aims for controllers. Especially considering now it has split screen coop. It was always my favorite feature of SSam gamepad controls - when using controller the game doesn't actually takes your controls away (or make them feel weird) like other shooters do.

Also it needs profiles for players. Something basic like separate controls and multiplayer name and character (so it doesn't show everyone as 'guest' and doesn't reset settings. For split screen purposes. Classics had it and it worked quite well.

I think the first person animations overall need some serious improvement. They're severely lacking in impact, and in the pump-shotgun's case, actual "pump" in the action.
