So RKS1 is DRM-free on Steam but not this game?

In light of recent events with PLAYISM no longer selling games anymore from their own store (which sucks if you ask me), will RKSF become DRM-free on Steam like the first one? It doesn't make sense that one game in this series can be played without the need for Steam after installation, but the other one is restricted by Steam's DRM, especially since PLAYISM will be gone for good and the DRM-free builds will go with it in May this year.

You can Download the second game for free, the dev offering it for free or was at one point on their own site I think? But, I don't think its the english translation.
