I'm trying to make/play my own maps. I make the map, set up the sides. save it. But it does not appear in the game. Saved it to my Assets/Maps/PvP, How do I play my own WorldBuilder made maps?

After further investigation I figured out a way to use my WorldBuilder made maps. In steam I went into; Game Properties, General Tab, Set Launch Options, Typed in, -dev

This removed the option to play 'The Last Stand,' or 'Find Game' ranked matches. but let me see, play the Skirmish maps I made in WorldBuilder.

I made a bunch of maps similar to, but larger then the old Into the breach maps. Where you don't have to worry about fighting over resource points, all the resources are secured behind the bases. Much more straight forward. and you can use your entire force, to take on your foes entire force. Much more satisfying.

I cant even save my map, i put it into assets/maps/pvp, it comes up with failed to save scenario files, after that it has failed to save scenario marker files. Any help?

You need to cook/bake the map, and it will save it to the required folder for game play at least. Otherwise it doesnt matter where you save the map file. once it's baked into the folder the game draws it's assets from you can play it.

It can get a little glitchy trying to save certain types of maps. It's not one of the best map builders out there. I suggest searching/looking at some of the how to videos on Youtube you can find for it. There is a couple old videos that can show you how to go through the required steps to get it working.

There are a few reasons why it might not be saving right. Have you set up the player start points? There are a few required fields like the base, & it's allocation to a player.

The map files can get easily corrupted because of additional asset files that it builds up, especially if you try to move it from one folder to another. None of which are really needed. Once you bake the map it saves all relative playable assets to a specific folder, It does not even use assets/maps/pvp to draw from the map for game play.

The map editor is kind of broken in this way. It looks like it was being set up for more easy plug and play, but then at the last bell it went another way to get rushed into the game. Making it more designer friendly, but glitchy. Which is to say a poorly coded trainwreck.
