How to get the heavy hitter achievment for hive tyrant last stand?
Killing 25 super heavy units or something like that. I already guessed i had to kill the anvil of Khorne bosses (great unclean one,...) since bloodied colosseum didn't give anything.
Any tips on killing 25 of them and getting the achievment?

Not much, you teammates must contribute by alowing you to kill super heavies. Some of them are tough, they can help you with weakening part alowing you to finish them. You are right about units, they are: Great Unclean One, Avatar, Swarmlord, Battlewagon, Baneblade, Land Raider. So, you have 5 or 6 potential kills for one match, if you hold that much.

Well, I used close combat build, including barbed armor. Ranged weapons need time to cool down after couple of shots, and in that time your team or your summoned cretures, or their summoned creatures can score the kill instead. Its riskier if someone use Ravener, he spits a lot. I m not sure does your creature kills counts for super heavies, so I didnt risked. Energy shield could buy you some time against close combat heavies, or as an alternative, invulnerability shield when you sacrifice your creature. Battlewagon is easiest of all targets, and so is Baneblade since it doesnt need much to bow down, but its surounded by flood of guardsmen. Swarmlord can fall from one hit of AA missiles from Tau Commander, but it rapes at close combat, so couple of shots from your friends, and you finish it. Its a bit easier to employ this tactic against Avatar and Great Unclean, because they move a lot slower than Swarmlord, so you can dance around while they chase you and your friends deal damage to them to get your life easier. Anyways, that was my way. In any case, it takes some time and matches, but it would be best if your friends can help you, because its hard to convince random people. I actually got it with randoms. Another guy was Tyrant too, and he needed couple of kills, I needed 4. So, we helped him first, and in rematch they helped me.

Something else...

Make sure you make it known that you're going for this challenge, as people will not notice in the heat of battle a tiny little message in the bottom corner.

Also, be careful of trying to whack the Swarm Lord, as he has the most crushing melee I have ever seen.

I did it with the Venom Cannon, the armor that boosts health(forgot the name), Toxin Sacs, Warp Field, Ravener Nest and Evolution.
Toxin Sacs+Ravener will kill just about anything, Toxin Sacs+Venom Cannon deals a lot of single target damage, perfect for super-heavies, Warp Field will let you tank the damage from your targets, and more health increases the damage of Toxin Sacs, I believe.

Yes it does, Brother-Captain Dak'ir. While in my own out of body experience, being transfered into a Hive-Tyrant, I found that I can actually out melee the Swarm Lord, but it seems no one else can do that as well as I can... However, it seems the teams I have played with don't give a single crap about helping. Especially Tau players, it seems. I'm not saying each and every Tau player are like that, just most.

Minions count towards the achievment also, of course they have to be your minions.
