If you can play all of them and you like wh40k stuff, i would check em all in the correct order.
In my case i like dow2 and chaos rising more than retribution (story, gameplay, etc)
Dawn of War 2: Chaos Rising campaign was good 9/10. With the storyline richly detailed and actually looking deeply into the mystery of the Blood Ravens. And with the missions varying with different objectives and no overdone repetition.
Dawn of War 2: Retribution campaign was below average 6/10. The end of the Space Marine campaign was a nice touch, but due to every race having basically the same mission with the same dialogue, the Space Marine storyline was dried out and rushed in this one. The whole storyline itself was cliche in itself... Space Marine becomes corrupt... Chaos spreads... main antagonist wants to become a Daemon Prince.. lacked originality and really closed off any possibility of a compelling storyline for the Blood Ravens in DoW III.
Once you are done with these campaigns, I recommend you read my Space Marine campaign remake for how DoW II: Retribution should have been.. if you have the time of course.
