This is like buying a car, having staff from the cars manufacturer coming and ripping out the passenger seat because the manufacturers new owner don't like it when two people travel adjacent to each others.

Why the hell doesn't consumer rights work the same way with products like games on Steam? I hate that!

you can still sought of do it. it esay to play against bots or set a private match with a friend or two. i did both of them today. sadly LAN was removed so you will have to stick to online or campaign for offline

Incredible that still to this day nobody had made a mod to fix this... Nobody has even asked for a mod to fix it, from the posts I have read...
Could anyone please make a mod? Offline skirmish should work when you are OFFLINE, I give a Damn who is running the game or not, especially when games are more so run by the communities over the actual owners.

from what lil i understand, it wont happen. the "mod" would end up being a hacked image or some such and thats probably what sega was going for. distributing it would violate the enduser shackle.

do what i just did, get a crack version with lan and skirmish still, not my problem if they dont want people doing it, dont take ♥♥♥♥ out of the game that was good :P
