No offline skirmish?

downloading the game now. I'll be refunding the game if there's no skirmish when offline. It's like you bought the game but don't have the rights to play if you're not online.

I just got The Last Stand only mode and it is online only. Not liking the idea of jumping into online play without a clue how to do anything at level 1. I have little expericence with Warhammer series other than a few hours of demos many years ago.

I reckon that you cannot play local matches vs CPU if you are not connected to internet.

look at the screenshot. no skirmishes... meaning you can't play if you're not online. damn. this people are so slow..

To be honest, skirmish against the AI is extremely boring. And i really mean BOOORING. The AI is simply a pushover. The game is beyond awesome, i don't see why would anyone refund it for such a reason. If you plan on playing MP, well, that speaks for itself. If you plan on playing SP then play the campaign with various factions. Playing skirmishes against the AI is a waste of money in itself, as the game is nowhere near as enjoyable as it is in MP, nor are they as fun as the campaign.

skirmish vs AI when u are very casual or new to the game is very fun
also perfect for warmup before u go pvp...

it was even more fun in elite mod since AI was very smart until someone ♥♥♥♥♥ up the AI and it is ruined forever...

Skirmishes vs. AI are indeed very fun, and I play against them all the times I play this game! even on Company of Heroes, which is the same engine.

Playing vs AI using the Elite mod makes stuff very challenging.

Elite mod AI is a challenge and a change from the sleepy base AI.

Because there is no ''offline skirmish'' option in retribution, why the ♥♥♥♥ would you even buy the game and refund without even trying yourself. If you want to play with bots you pick private and just add bots to the empty slots.
