Is there any Command and Conquer game that can rival Dawn of War 2: Retribution?

honestly, I love Red Alert 3
just for the love of god avoid c&c 4 and you should be alright. Frankly I'd reccomend Red Alert because it has basebuilding, which I enjoy, and dawn of war 2 loses replay value quickly.
Just a thought.

I'd rather take DoW2, but maybe it's because I'm too much of a Warhammer 40k fanboy...

But RA3 is kind of childish imo...I dislike the cutscenes, the missions, the pacing...pretty much everything.
But it's still a decent game. I suggest checking some videos of both games and deciding on your own.

Yeah I didn't like C&C style for the same reasons. I expected something very different. Real people cutscenes with poor dialogues... not for me.

RA3 isn't so bad, but that shining... Both DoW2 and RA3 are colourful, but RA3's coloring is so agressive for your eyes (in combo with occasional over-usage of shaders) I just couldn't stand to watch at the screen longer than 20-30 minutes. At DoW2 I could stare for the whole day.

i have both since i liked both all the Command and Conquer games and most of the Warhammer 40k. Just have not played any lately of C&C. The Dawn of War Warhammer 40k games have basebuilding, Dawn of War 2 series don't have a basebuiding component. I guess i should try loading my Dawn of War sets on my latest computer and try loading Command and Conquer.
