Game Crash when choosing Necron Lord

My friend got a game crash when choosing to play as Necron Lord

Its made by Relics and they know their business man, I dont have crash with Necrons, only my friend does, probably some software - drivers conflicts.
Maybe thats because I got Nvidia GPU and my friend the AMD one...

i am also having the same issue and its honetly annoying becaue you can just tell that it wont get fixed for at least 5 years when they feel like releasing a second patch....

I have asus 390x and working fine with crimson driver.

Had a recent crash while playin as Overlord on wave. . 18, the Overlord is really powerful, but im alittle miffed with the crash :/ lost all that juicy xp

I have this problem too, The icon for him in the menu is looks like a "Missing Texture" placeholder for me. I've only just installed it so no idea how it could be corrupted or anything :/
Running on Nvidia btw.

Missin textures and sign out of memory? Try to lower your graphic settings from Ultra to Mid, save and restart the game, if it helps you may set in Ultra again and probably that will be fixed

Thats what I would normally assume... I have 16GB though, It shouldn't be running out of RAM and I have 4GB on my GFX card so probably not the issue. Will try in a bit though if reinstalling hasn't fixed it.

EDIT: Reinstalling fixed this problem for me.

We are aware of this issue and are investigating it.

In the meantime, could you verify your game cache and clear your launch settings through Steam?

To do this, navigate to Dawn of War II: Retribution in your game library in Steam. Then, right click the title and select Properties. In the General tab, click Set Launch Options and clear them. To verify the cache, navigate to the Local Files tab and click Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

If you still encounter the problem, continue to post in this thread! We're keeping an eye on it. :)

Thx for your reply, yeah we did it already while the problem just happened, still my friend is crashing. No mods were installed and nothing like "- dev modname and etc "were added to game launch.

same with me. twice in a row now. don't have a mod installed and game cache all verified.
