How powerful is the God Emperor?
Well I'm posting this because I got into a little back and forth with a person on Chaos vs Emperor, and which is more powerful.

Well I'm saying the Emperor. Mainly because he is supposed to be holding against the forces of the Warp and power the Astronomican, which i'm sure is no small feat, and he's pretty much just a skeleton now. That really says something about how powerful he is. You can only imagine how powerful he could be if he wasn't stuck on the golden throne.

I head an interesting theory about the Emperor. It was that if the Emperor really did fully die, he'd become a new chaos god, but the chaos god of order. Although I guess I should say warp god, because he's not very chaotic. And think about that for a second. If he's able to hold back the forces of the warp from just running completely unchecked and powering the Astronomican as a skeleton, imagine how powerful he'd be if he was turned into a warp god. I don't think the forces of chaos would be that much of a propblem for much longer.

Why should Tyranids attack the Eye? there is no Biomass (Deamons are Warp creatures). Tyranids would ignore the Warp and move as long they are no threat for thier hunting ground.

And if the tyranids absorb all life, the warp will die out cause they need the emotions
LIke tyranids are no life? Like tyranids dont have feelings.....

There's planets in the eye, and they'd need to go in once they eat everything else.

I assume the Hive Mind feels a loss when a Tyranid dies, not like a mourning loss, more of a "something's resisting us" loss.

There are other Warp Rifts that Chaos come from
@sindri
yep, tyranids feel nothing, there is a story about that in the Tyranid Codex where they fight agains Chaos.
the tyranids irgnores the chaos cause they are not biological and the chaos cannot manipulate them caus they have no feelings or a "soul" they could corrupt (and they gotten weaker).

After chaos starts a fight the tyranids saw them as another predator and choose to fight back.

so tyranids will ignore the chaos/warp until they have to fight back

Then chaos will still die because they will try to fight them, especially if somehow tyranids were the only other life force
This thread is heresy.

Well I think they might attack the Eye because of what biomass that's there, that being the worshipers of chaos.

They are alive, definetely, but not sentient in the understanding Warp is used to. Tyranids create strong warp turbulence wherever they go, but don't generate any symbols or ideas formed enough to manifest into demons. As silly as it sounds, they bring nothing but pure chaos into warp, and that's definetely not something Chaos gods want.

Don't confuse me!
I forget which Hive Fleet it was- the one that used the 'Jaws' formation to carry the Shadow in the Warp across a vast distance- couldn#t they conviebly close/disrupt rifts using that method? Say, encircling the Eye of Terror. Anything within that wouldn't be able to use warp powers.

As for the Emperor Vs Chaos - going back quite a bit! But he's made up of the reincarnated souls of the first human Psykers who decided to ritually sacrifice themselves and have their souls become one in the Warp. He's kinda like a living Ynead. It could be that the Chaos God Malal is the Emperors soul in the warp, given that it works against Chaos. And as the Sons of Malice can summon him in to Realspace . . .

Maybe Malal is the Emperor and the Emperor is Malal, but he's just looked at differently from different people. Because there isn't a other chaos god that's hated by all four like Malal is supposed to be hated.
Malal seems a bit too self-destructive to be Emps, and wouldn't the Emperor have to die to be ressurected as Malal?
makes sense to me.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Xjx5-pP5Qc Also that.

If you think. The thing keeping him a 'Minor' Chaos God- The Emperor has to power the Astromician, the guiding light in the Warp.

Destructive to Chaos. They actively work against other chaos gods and don't summon Daemons. And not exactly. The minds of Psykers are always in the warp. When they die, they enter it fully. The Emprorer has used the Golden Throne as a type of anchor, holding a flicker of his will in to his husk so that the Imperium can navigate Warpspace using the Astomician. The greater majority of his mind is in the Warp. It's where the Sensai and Star Child theories come from. Kill the Emperor, and he'll be reborn in theory. Though given that he's spent 10k years sat in that throne with every second being unbearable agony- i kinda think that it'd drive anyone crazy. It'

Though of course, we don't know what his minds doing in the warp.
