How to change screen resolution from outside the game ?

Following the arrival of the necron, I installed DOW2 on my new PC which runs 2xGTX970 in SLI with 3 screens, using 5760x1080 resolution.

I launched the game with that resolution and when I got to the main menu (after the intro video), all I can see is the red background, the end of the flaming pistol and the hips of the character.
I cannot see the menu and cannot scroll or anything. It's like I'm zoomed in and locked in position.
All I can do is press ESC and choose to close the game.

I have tried to switch to single screen but I get the same.

How can I change screen resolution from outside the game ?

C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\dawn of war ii - retribution\Settings\configuration.lua

edit it with wordpad.

Change "screenheight" to 1080 and "screenwidth" to 1920.

Getting 1500+ FPS lol
