Last Stand Sorcerer
Still trying to figure what this guy's niche is aside from just copy a tank and basically AFK for the rest of the match. I don't want meta builds. I want wacky out there builds.

I've tried making caster builds, but he's just too fragile and has poor sustain, and he doesn't deal enough damage to make up for it, unlike the Tau Commander, who can spec for stupid damage at the cost of durability. Also let's not forget that Let the Galaxy Burn, probably his best spell, just doesn't cast sometimes, despite still charging you for it.

I've even tried making a memey Hellblade build, and it can certainly bully infantry all day, healing 30-odd HP per swing and dealing lots of infantry damage. Yet the moment it comes across a big scary enemy it just dies.

So aside from a hopelessly boring and unoriginal dopple build, what can the Sorceror do well?

Teleport-Doombolt-Repeat. The only other viable thing that he can do thats not a meme. But yes, his job is to make a strong clone and let it kill in his stead.

The sorcerer with the Teleport-Doombolt-build, wearing the Robes of the Deathless, is one of the strongest heroes in the Last Stand. Especially when playing for highscores with tokens. Very usefull can be the Icon of Pain to boost the firepower of the team. It needs some experience to play the sorcerer with his full potential because he is very squishy. It is all about the right timings, and the mapoverview. You always have to be aware about save-spots and taunted/untaunted units. To lead your clones and support them is important too. It shouldn't get boring when playing the sorcerer. A Veteran-Sorcerer can carry the game on both maps.

Teleport Staff is the best weapon for sorcerer hands down. Using the upgrades with it in combination with upgrades for your clones is the best standard sorcs in the game.

Deathless armor is also the best armor for sorcerer hands down.

Now, if you want something other than that. I can sometimes go for hellblade, icon of pain, narcisist with extra melee armor, and red bubble. It does ok. Just can get over whelmed.

rune staff with extra damage and melee armor and clones does alright too. Never underestimate grey bubble for killing hard ranged armor.

Try sorcerer with narcism. Then you can try dps loadouts(such as ,,fireball" spam)

you gotta reconsider what you call boring and unoriginal. being able to copy AND enhance an enemy is pretty amazing especially with the aspect that the potential of it grows overtime as stronger enemies appear.

Like, legit, the sorcerer with dopple is the only hero that gives a sense of progression since you don't get the best dopple at the beginning.

usually, the best way to have fun with it is to make the dopple more tank oriented, not damage while you can do damage with the teleport+doombolt or other ways.
fully focusing on the dopple will get boring as you don't get to do anything.

It's boring and unoriginal because every single level 20 Sorceror does the same thing. Dopples a big enemy, dopple heals itself with Deathless and Sustenance, Sorceror spends the whole time either teleporting away, or teleporting into the enemies to try and burn them, only to teleport into the path of every AOE ability his allies use ever.

Sure, it works, but it's so dull just doing the same thing as everyone else. Also I'd argue that Veil of Tears Farseer also has a sense of progression, as Veil gets stronger as the waves progress. It barely does anything on the early Anvil waves, but can easily solo Anvil wave 19.

I like using a build based entirely on Warp, maxing it out with the two sigils for double fire effect, the narcissistic armor of might undivided, the daemonic gift of sustenance and the icon of summoning for extra hp. You set yourself in close combat mode, strike two times an enemy before reWarp on it until it dies. You dont run out of energy and you have a good health regen thanks to the sustenance. You dont hit hard, though the fire from the warp builds up and then it does a lot of damage. You can solo a lictor, two nobs, a bloodcrusher and the clone from wave 16 in the colosseum is not a threat.

It demands quite a bit of micro, though like the rocket run general, that's what i seek for, a bit of challenge and uncommun builds.

With that you can also do a nice crowd control by making enemies seeing you first by teleporting near them and then letting the mates taking care of them. Basically kitting.

You also have, based on clones this time, a funny build based on the tome of hunger and the death throes. Though it is less powerfull or tankier build than the warp based one.
