Requesting offline mode for The Last Stand
It kinda upsets me a little bit that Campaign and Multiplayer get offline modes but The Last Stand doesn't. It sure as heck deserves one. I've seen a lot of players that can hold their own better than a team of three that they're usually part of. Look around in the Community Guides and you can find that a lot of them list solo builds. The heroes of The Last Stand all have the potential to take on the 20 waves on their own. Unfortunately they can only do this if the other two members of their party drop out, because it is a requirement to have a party of three to start a game of The Last Stand. And while we all love getting friends together for The Last Stand, I bet we all are curious how long our heroes can last on their own with their builds of powerful wargear.

There probably is one major issue, and that is the fact that the maps have stuff that require the three players(such as the three doppelgangers that spawn on wave 16 in Bloodied Colosseum, and that all three players are teleported into individual spawn gates at wave 20), but this has an easy and very fun fix. Let the one player take their own three heroes into the match of The last Stand and let them control all three. That'll make it even more fun. Not only will it keep to the three hero requirement, but the player will be able to use their own heroes that they spent all their time levelling up and unleash their self proclaimed flawless strategies to their full extent. This way if their strategy fails, it will be due to their own incompetence and not because the people they are playing with aren't skilled enough or the other players don't have the wargear necessary for efficiently surviving. The player can be in direct control of the three heroes, they can set up how they like, they can fight off the 20 waves with the power they put into each hero, and they can gain experience and earn achievements without other players possibly messing them up.

Relic, please give The Last Stand an offline mode. Aside from the amount of time it will take, I don't see any downsides. And you would be making a lot of players happy. So it's a win-win

did i say do it instantly? did i assume that they already had the cash to work on it?
No. I didn't.
If they need time to gather the cash to work on it, then they shall get it. this is a request, not a demand. all i'm doing is throwing an idea out there. and i sure as heck don't need joykilling A-holes like you applying realism to suggestive creativity and stomping on people's ideas.

I think they could just make it like, depending on the number of players the more enemies spawn, so even two players could play.

that is possible. it might require a bit more tweaking though, only becuase i believe The Last Stand is programmed to require a party of three to start a game of it. so thats why i suggested to let the one player use three of their own heroes in offline mode. but thanks for sharing your idea

Yeah its programmed that way. I just meant that you could even make it so you don't even need three.

i know what you meant. i'm just saying it would take more time to do so. but i don't yet know much about programming games and such, so how should i know? XD

Although it is an awesome idea, Relic is dead. The only way it could be added is if someone modded it in, which I'm quite sure is possible. The only concern I have is that no one would play the multiplayer last stand anymore, because it'll become single player.

Relic still exist, they were only bought by SEGA after THQ went bankrupt.

They add maybe a singleplayer version of Last Stand in Dawn of War 3 (if they make it somedays. Actual they dont make it because of Warhammer: Total War. And it´s still unclear if SEGA has a license for the 40k franchise).

Relic is down to 2 workers last I heard. They are practically dead.
