Dark Angels Pack, single player???

So, the "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution: Dark Angels Pack" (and a couple other) has the "Single-Player" tag (not custom tag), but is it actually for the single player part of the game? or have they labeled it wrong and it is really only for the multi-player/co-op part of the game?

Playing against the AI is still single-player. But ye, it's for the battle part (matchmaking or custom battles).

Well, if you have to play with other players, it is not "single-player", "single-player" literally means that you are the only player in the world-space, it has been that way ever since the beginning of multi-player gaming, so it would have to be a recent changing of the meaning to be otherwise hehe

Is campaign single-player? You can play the campaign in co-op after all.
And if the campaign against AI is single-player, why aren't skirmishes against only AI also single-player?

In campaign, co-op is optional, I am not aware of any other part of the game where you are not forced to play with other players, and like I said the only thing that matters is that you are the only player in the world-space, it has nothing to do with who/what you play against, if other players are required for you to run the game-mode in question, or can join your play (no matter if you want to or not), it is not single-player.

But you can do battles against AI (1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, ffa) without other players. They can't join you if you don't want them to, so skirmish against AI is single-player.

Right, I meant that normal battles (outside campaign missions), similar to the real multi-player battles, were still possible with AI enemies and teammates.
