All Units?

I've been looking for a way to get every single unit along with their upgrades. Is there any guide to do that that? Which selection to get after a mission and which Free Upgrade items appear in missions?

I don't think you can get both because the campaign is short as hell so short that the max level you can reach is 10 for all of your heroes so its likely following the theme with the previous two installments of DoW2 where you have to plan your builds as well as your army ahead of time.

Items that appear are half random: so there is no way for certain to get them all
As for unlocking all the units and their upgrades, some tech trees may have it easier than others: but there are definately not enough unlocks at the end of the missions to get all of them.

Not to mention certain missions will give you free army upgrades but these are few and far between, an example would be the first official mission you do on Typhon as there's a hidden item that will upgrade your starter infantry for free, the one you likely stop using after getting better troops.

I know that very item you are talking about and always get it after going down the stairs. So as far as I know, all but the second unit on the chart will get a free upgrad. Believe me, I've done this a lot. All that means now that there is to be a walkthrough of showing Which Army unit to get and win so that the others will appear.

This highly depends on the race and your choices after the missions. For example for Eldar it's possible. But for Space marines I guess it's not enough free + missions upgrades combined (smth like needed 2 more)

You can, but you have to get VERY lucky because sometimes certain upgrade consumables don't drop. I have one or two saves with full tech.
