Retribution saying I'm offline

Been playing "Last Stand" a lot lately, suddenly I get dropped and when trying to get back in I am told I am not connected to steam or am offline....... However neither of those are the case.

Same issue here. I can access chat and community but game tells me I have lost steam connection.

Ditto. Exactly the same problem. Had just finished a Last Stand and when I came out it was all "you're offline, go check Steam!". Except Steam's still up. Even restarting Steam didn't make it wake up.

Can't even go into an offline campaign as it says that 'cos it's offline it won't be able to sync my saves, then proceeds to not let me click Okay to clear the message.

'Tis clearly the Grimdark End Times... Tszeench must be sat there laughing. Khorne's waiting for the carnage. Papa-Smurf is probably pulling another random Mechanicus out of his butt who's somehow better at genetics than the Emprah and is ready to make an even bigger super-special marine... Maybe call them Alphaprimemega-Marines-with-extra-awesomesauce...

reporting in - game is offline for me as well. All other services are running (steam/internet explorer, other games).

All of my DoW titles are having this same issue. Dark Crusade. Soulstorm. Even Winter Assault. Never got 3 so don't know about it.

Had just done the same test and was about to say the same regarding all DoW titles being unavailable online (also minus DOW3 'cos.. well... (expletive))... maybe Sega in their sulk at DOW3 tanking have pulled the plug on the earlier ones... or maybe someone just forgot to renew whatever sacrifices or dues Steam demand.

Oh well.. hopefully gets fixed reasonably quickly. DoW series by far the best 40k games and I need my grimdark, damnit.

I am going to be seriously pis sed if I just loose the ability to play all the DoW games I own. Its quite literally theft.

It seems it is their issue, not steam, 'cause I hovered over the little light next to my name in the game's main menu(currently yellow), says steam is online and running but their servers aren't, so it's Sega or who ever owns the servers fault, so RIP the game for now, hopefully it comes back soon.

Over the years the game has been supported well. Retained a lot of it's popularity too.
