Can't start the game
I keep getting Fatal Error every time I start the game and have to quit, is there anyway to solve this?

I'm experiencing the same issues... Unfortunately I haven't found any fix/es.

Sorry for the late reply. There are several things you can try:
1. Make sure all your graphic cards driver are up to date.
2. Sometime anti virus software tends to cause problems. See this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/563840/discussions/0/1735507984422720199/

If this does not help, please send me a direct mail to p.mueller@mooneyestudios.com with your hardware specs and I will try to have a closer look.

We released a new patch which resolves some of the startup problems. If you could please try and let me know if you are now able to play the game.

Could you please let me know if you are still experience this problem? We released a couple of patches which should have solved this problem. Would be great if we could mark this thread as solved.

Hmh, the only thing left we know about is that some antivirus software causes problems with the game. Do you use F-Secure by any chance. In case use any anti virus software, can you add an exception for Lost Ember.

If this does not work we would like to send you a debug version to get to the root of the problem. Could you please send me an email to p.mueller@mooneyestudios.com

I have the game working. I upgraded to Windows 10 and it works wonderfully.
I'm not computer minded so it never occurred to me that this help.
