[Bugs] Research 7 -Jericho Mines-
In the campaign Research 7, mission Jericho Mines:
-Bug 1-
the laser doesn't fire, which means I had to kill the queen manually, which I did.
(rotated, recharged and hit the red button, nothing happened)
-Bug 2-
then the exit didn't work, even though I managed to enter (the elevator).

It's quite possible that Bug 2 is just a cascading consequence of Bug 1. :blockade: :zombieworm:

Extra Data:
Campaign -Single Player
Difficulty -Easy
Onslaught -Disabled
Friendly Fire -Regular
Challenge -Disabled
4 Marines -1 Medic, 2 Specialists, 1 Technician

Man you sound badass! :steamhappy:
Might wanna add you to friends list and ask to try and duplicate this bug.
We did test it many times and it worked but maybe we did overlook something.

Personally, I think it's a missed trigger for continuing the mission.
Either the entire safety trigger hasn't been coded or it is faulty.
It happens, but this does make way for a mission breaking bug however.

I didn't even manage to find an exit on that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. Everytime I ended up near the ladder where we dropped off in the beginning and there's no way out. After about 9 tries, me and my friend just gave up.

Did you try to fire the laser using the console with the red light in the northwest corner of the laser room? Because that's not how you fire the laser. You have to interact with the computer at the south end of the laser room that has a CRT monitor with a green screen. (For future reference, the game gives you pictures of mission-critical interactable objects underneath individual objectives when you're looking at the full map.)

The escape path you're meant to take involves the slanted pipe coming out of the ground near the stairs up to the big metal platform connecting the lift and the laser room. Next time you play this mission, you and your team might want to take some time to figure out and practice the escape path before you complete any objectives.

I explored the thing up and down and fell on lava, was super fun.

Twice the panels on the right of the room then the panel in the south (center), yes.
The "red button" is just an euphemism for sending off weapons in general, my bad. :redbutton::destruction:

Did all that, never saw the laser fire, and queen was alive still. Had to kill her,
because she was standing right infront of the laser in the doorway. Killed her with
1 guy because the 3 allied bots apparently didn't see her as an enemy.
Then the exit didn't want to trigger 'mission complete'. Had to cancel mission.

How about I walk you through the escape path, then? The following assumes that you are starting at the base of the slanted pipe:

  1. Walk east up the slanted pipe until you are vertically aligned with a platform to the north which is bordered by a pipe.
  2. Walk north, falling off the slanted pipe and landing on the platform.
  3. Follow the platform path east to its end. There will be a pipe leading south.
  4. Walk south on the pipe until you are horizontally aligned with a shipping container to the east.
  5. Walk east, falling onto the shipping container.
  6. Walk to the east end of the shipping container and then walk north onto the rock.
  7. To climb to the top of the rock, walk to the west side, then walk north up the rock's slope.
  8. Walk off the rock onto the platform path to the east.
  9. Follow the path east to the elevator. On the way, you will walk over the debris pile preventing this path from being traversed in the reverse direction.

Aside: I do feel that the escape path isn't very obvious - it did take me a few tries before I figured it out myself.
