If you use electric armour, it'll stop a parasite infection mid-infection.
Healing also works.
I'm not going to say I'm confident, but I'm still PRETTY sure that teslas work, atleast in the original.

Teslas can't friendly fire, so your advice is already wrong.
Come to think of it, you may be talking about shocking the facehuggers first before they latch onto you, but still it doesn't make a difference. It's either you kill it first, heal it out, wait it out on Easy (I think it is possible to just wait it out with full health) or Electric Armor it off.
