1. How do I get out of parasite infection?

2. Which key should I press at first person?

1. the medic will heal off the damage, or alternatively, use lightning armor when you have at least 50% hp or so.

I'm being serious. If someone shoots you with a tesla, it stops the infection (maybe not instantly, but at least faster)
At least, I'm 99% sure it does.

No it doesn't. If you are infested, it doesn't matter if the parasite on you dies and disappears or whatever status it is in, infestation continues.

@OP: which part of "Healing is the only cure for infestation" do you not understand?

That's actually not true.
If you use electric armour, it'll stop a parasite infection mid-infection.
Healing also works.
I'm not going to say I'm confident, but I'm still PRETTY sure that teslas work, atleast in the original.

Well, apart from the Electric Armor I meant.

Teslas can't friendly fire, so your advice is already wrong.

Come to think of it, you may be talking about shocking the facehuggers first before they latch onto you, but still it doesn't make a difference. It's either you kill it first, heal it out, wait it out on Easy (I think it is possible to just wait it out with full health) or Electric Armor it off.

I think I heard somewhere that the Tesla just slows it a little, but doesn't stop it. I have not tried it yet, so I can't say for sure if it is true.

There is only one way to stop an infection before it spreads to your whole team. The only thing you can do is burn whoever is infected with a flamer. If you don't have a flamer bullets work but just aren't as effective. Anyways this is what I do and it works 100% of the time.
