Infestation is so hard to cure!

This game is really good, but me and my friend can't go further because of the infestation. it just REKT us, even if we play with as much medic supplies as possible (2 assault rifles, one medgun, deployables medkits and Self meds)
But no matter how hard we try, we are just always rekted.
Do we nee to gring until lvl 14 for the electric armor?

Level 13 actually for the flamethrower. They die so fast with that gun. Also, kill any and all eggs you see so the facehuggers don't get a chance to hatch.

But even in the mission where they FORCE you to have the flamethrower, we died 2 time because of the infestation :l

Right, because that's the goal of that mission. If you're doing it on normal, you don't have to speed rush toooo much. Just be careful going around corners and such. But yeah, they're annoying, and eat up a lot of your meds, but it CAN be done :)

Now we just have to grind x) (we are locked at the mission when we need to activate the nuclear device, so we still need to ruch a little)

Like Sylvi said, it can be done. Just check your corners and spray the flamethrower around. Entering a new room? Flame it. Going around the corner? Flame it. Too dark to see? Flame it. Just keep a safe distance going forward you can kill them even when they try to jump you in mid air.

pssst.. if you set your shaders to max, parasites glow and become sooo much easier to spot.
Also, who's the doctor? if its Bastille and beacons, then you're gonna have a bad time.

Parasites, despite being real tiny, are easily considered the most dangerous; you probably learned that first hand though.

Flamethrowers and explosives are considered to be the best ways to deal with parasites since they are hard to hit, and obviously both of these things are easy to hit it with. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO "WASTE" EXPLOSIVES TO KILL A PARASITE IF MORE EFFECTIVE MEANS ARE UNAVAILABLE.

if you see a parasite coming dangerously close, do everything in your power to get away from it and kill it immediately. After all, You'd rather take a few hits from a drone or some grenade shrapnel instead of getting hugged.

If you are infested, its the victims job to protect the medic that is attempting to cure them. if a medic isn't present, Its the victims job to try to kill himself before the parasites can spawn.

Have a medic run medgun + health drops and you two run flamers. Hell, invite me and I'll be your medic.

On the three maps with eggs, parasites are already on the map itself on Normal, so watch out for them.

Once you are level 14, equip the Electro armor to prevent infestations/end infestations if you are already infested, but it is an active ability.

Don't get infested in the first place. It's the final solution to infestation.

Drop 2 heal beacons on same spot and hit them with the heal gun and its over fast enough that a speed run doesnt slow much. The infected shoudl also start right clicking to attack the face-rapist directly, which can slow the rate of infection, in some mild cases where you have full health at atsart kicking ti can even cure you, but only barely.

I think the danger of the little face rapists shouldn't be toned down.
