I have no idea if it works but id guess the comments would be full of complaints if it didnt
EDIT:You know, just incase you havnt found this for yourself in the last 6 months! ^^
even then it's more fun to learn how to avoid firing on your friends over just shoot like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ through everything including friendlies.
by default (e.g. without hardcore friendly fire) the game shields marines from friendly fire damage, and you have to overcome that shield before you start damaging marines.
Which essentially means you're just shooting blindly over & over at friendlies.
positioning is a crucial element of this game. if you & your team position themselves correctly you will win maps easily whatever settings you use.
it also helps fix the fire on hostile aliens and not teammates.
Plus, for some reasons, Backfire games tend to not have anyone get lit up by Flamers. Part of the coding I guess, but the only way to get set on fire is to walk into a fire mine (and kill the Officer who planted it)
Better return to bootcamp private lol
