WTF is "IAF medical amplifier gun"?

Same as old medgun only when one hits alternative fire, it enables weapon amplification and disables healing.

It has the same description as the usual medigun. At least this should be fixed as an error on the devs' side.

Quite a buggy gun. It sometimes just doesn't heal even when you switch the altfire and there's no visible signs of amp or heal settings. Most people just go with the lower level medgun

Aye, this would be useful information. There's a *huge* difference between x2 Damage and +20% Damage, after all.

It's the same as offhand amplificator, but in this case it's also portable.

Damage is 2x. Damage Amps and Healing Beacons are still better at what they do due to the large area of effect and duration, but the med guns can be used while on the run and that's their main draw.
