Difficult Levels!

I'm looking to culminate a list of some of the hardest levels in slay as I try to go through the campaign on master. What are some difficult levels you've run into and what made them hard? How did you get through them?

To start off, I found Caup to be very difficult and it took me many many tries to even complete. In particular, early game snowballing neighbors made passive play impossible but unabashedly risky play punishing. To beat Caup, try to limit your use of castles and try to manipulate the AI into a recurring back and fourth power struggles with strategic land grabs.

Also playing through everything on master, haven't kept track of the hardest ones tho. So far my highest turn counts have been on Esuv, Hyrt, and Kooc.

Just tried Esuv out. Its a super slow start of the game and you dont have many terretories but its not too hard to win. Winning fast however I think is possible but you'd have to take some big risks in trusting AI and especially tree growth. Fastest I could manage was a turn 16 surrender. I'll check out the others later!

I've been playing through all on master as well. Have completed all in A-L.

Obviously it generally gets harder towards the end of the alphabet.
There have been a few I've completed that took a few tries, and some that took some seemingly illogical thinking at the start.

I'm pretty sure some of the above are impossible but if you know otherwise let me know.

Every level except Paunn, Ripl, and Regy are beatable on Master difficulty. If any of you have beaten one of those, please let me know!

I recommend Pele, Qyss, and Rutau on Master difficulty for a challenge. There are plenty of hard levels to choose from in the Ps, Qs, and Rs of course!

I just beat Ripl on Master. It took a ton of restarts! I still haven't seen anyone say they beat Paunn or Regy.

Update: Paunn is beatable on Master. The strategy for this one is a little tricky! I'll try to do Regy on Master now but I'm not sure if it's possible.

I've beaten all the Rs on Master! Finding the right opening on Regy was hard. I had to try a bunch of different things.

Hi Alice. I’ve managed the three you mention (I agree Ripl is tough; too me about 50 turns!). One map I can’t beat on Master though is ‘Ring’ (although not on the ‘R’ list you’re talking about). Have you done that one? Matt

I started from the top, only playing on Master. Most maps I breeze through. Occasionally I have to restart and try a different strategy. However, I've been stuck on Kous for a few days. Looking forward to trying the Ps, Qs, and Rs you all are talking about, but I made a rule that I don't move forward unless I'm done.

I actually got that one down.. Took some very unintuitive belligerent attacking and just praying ai doesnt clap you for it
