Cross-play Ubisoft - Steam

is it possible for me and my friends to all play together when some of us have it on steam and some of us have it on Uplay / Ubisoft Connect?

Their old support site has changed and does not seem to list Monopoly Plus anymore. Not sure what's up with that, but I found this other link. Not sure how much help it could be, or how long it will be valid, but here it is:

If you add each other as Ubisoft Connect friends, then you should be able to play if you invite through the Ubisoft Connect friends list.

Yes, however as UbiBaron has stated,
you will need to add each other on Uplay
to be able to invite each other,
