Last house auction bug

Hello,

On each multiplayer game the aution for the last house made the game completely ignore any inputs. There was no way to continue the game and we were forced to quit. Scince this usually happens afer some hours it's very frustrating.

Do you remember if it was always the same person being the host of the session?

yea, I was hosting all sessions

This happens to my games as well, we are deep into a game typically an hour into a game and we come across this glitch. Me and my friends have to quit the game and start over its frustrating. There are also numerous other glitches that occur during the game. This game is just broken nothing you can do about it. @ubisoft pls fix

Same here, have been deep into two games and experience the disconnect. Doesn't allow anyone to return either. Don't buy it.

Have you tried having someone else host to see if this would make the situation different?

Yeah, it happens all the time, can't finish a single game.

Hey Developers,

I just spent 7 hours playing this game with my friend:

And we got to the point where the last house came up and it said to auction it so I continued to auction and then I couldn't press any buttons to bid, withdraw, etc. And got kicked for inactivity, I then tried to join back and it did not let me join back.

This is a huge bug which has just ruined my experience on this game, its been a bug since 2017!!! So many people have gotten this bug a simple online search has revealed this:

This is not a connectivity issue for the hosts or clients, this is a verified GAME BUG which has been in the game for so many years now with no patch and is utterly ruining the experience of this game. Is there a Hasbro representative or somebody we the community of this game can reach out to in order to ensure this issue which has been in the game since first as far as I can see 2017 is fixed?

It is repeatable 100% of the time, but from what I can see from comments by others it only happens for online play not local play. I hope that information helps.

I personally love this bug. It really gives the game character. Name one good game that isn't a bit rough around the edges. Sure, they could have chosen to NOT add a 'Last House Auction' that would indeed fail to work, but they chose the harder route. Big ups to the developers for this. Sometimes in life, it takes stepping out of one's boundaries to make something beautiful. I believe that the Last House was beyond the developer's skillsets and understandings. But they still chose to tackle such a complex idea in their videogame. I wish for everyone to experience the divine judgment of this game-ending bug at some point in their gaming career. It builds character.

My guess is that they made this game like some years ago and the dev team dissolved very quickly after that. Now they are trying to keep the facade of active support while nobody is there to be able to actually fix stuff

I just had this happen with me and my buddy. We were about 2 and a half hours In and when we auctioned for the last house neither of us could do anything and we were forced to quit. I left first and then it was my buddies turn but it was still on the auction screen. So then he got kicked as well.
