Crashing in online bug in 2025

i have not played this game in a while but i have a weird bug when i try to connect to multiplayer it crashes but on single player it's 100% fine i also tried to do it on another computer same thing on on both windows 10 computers

my friend also tried to host a lobby it works just fine for him while he is on windows 11 and he bought the game yesterday despite being delisted from the store it's very weird and i'm starting to think there's an issue with windows 10 that keeps crashing over and over and i'm not sure why but it does for some reason and i wondered if anyone is having the same thing happening

For me I start up the game and it's a black screen. The music is playing, and when I put my mouse over the screen it acts like it's working. I just can't see anything.
