Monopoly Plus

Is the game worth it? How many local players possible?
As the title says, I would like to know if the game is worth it?

In the reviews you can read about many crashes. Is that right? Does this also apply to local games? My Rig is a Win10 - i5 CPU - 16gb ram - gtx 1060 6g

I want to play the game locally with the family. How many local players are possible?

Can all play with xbox controller? If so, do different ones work, or all with the same one?

So far we play Monopoly on the Nintendo Wii and would like to try something new.

Thanks for your help!

i personally think the games worth it. as iv had almost no issues, over 180 hours on record.
the most iv personally seen would be people disconnecting sometimes mid game
but you can join back if you just select multiplayer again.

that said if you are looking to only play locally the game works perfectly.
iv never had a crash.

you can have up to 6 players. (and can put bots in if you want)
also yeah you can use your controller.
i'm not sure about multiple controllers. but you can make it so everyone uses the same one.

lastly your rig is way above the specs needed for this game.
it can run on many intel integrated graphics

i'd say get it if you like monopoly, especially if you are gonna just play local
as an FYI you'll be required to install the UBISOFT launcher as stated on the store page.
but you can start it from steam once you connect the two.

it's not worth it, the game is a glitchy cashgrab, I played 3 games, all of them crashed and now I can't refund it cause I went over 2 hours, it is way too bulky and terribly developed. I'd say it's unfinished but that would imply they'll finish it some day.

Buy tabletop simulator, it costs less, gives you thousands of games including monopoly, and despite being a simulator game is less scuffed than this absolute turd you'd expect from ubisoft. Perfectly fitting for a game called monopoly plus

It is not worth it, and it will never be worth it

about the previous comment
-online games are a nightmare of dcs
-my friend dc'd every time he had to mortgage
-controller is NOT supported properly (depends on the controller)
-keyboard controls are garbage

that's just the tip of the iceberd, I don't have the energy to go on about this

yes and now I am totally confused

Not as good as the Monopoly 2008. The old one allows you choose as many different House rules as you want. I've played this on my friend's Nintendo Wii, you can only choose one House rule.

This game is downright bad, you will need to open an account on Ubisoft, graphics are glitchy and you don't have any sort of control over what kind of games you want to play online unless you create the room.
It is simply not worth it.

I haven't touched it since I tried it with my fam because it doesn't support multiple controllers, even though it says so on the store page. False advertising. Passing 1 controller around is a hassle and breaks the flow. I actually can't believe something as simple as being able to use more than 1 controller isn't possible.

Thank you very much. Of course passing controller around is like 1990

So bots work in local multiplayer with multiple players? I've seen multiple posts about multiplayer not allowing bots but does that also apply to offline multiplayer?

yeah you can add bots in local multiplayer, up to Six total players/AI

just not in online matches.

Hi, 6 local, and if everyone has a decent connection, you can host a game via remote play where you're watching 6 other people who don't own the game play (7 in session, 1 watching, 6 playing)
