Game puts me in as two players

when i try to join a game with my friends it loads me in as two players as in there is one slot where i can change the icon and one that just has my name like it's another player but i can't do anything with it and can't start the game because it needs to ready up help

think i plugged in a different keyboard and it worked, don't remember since this was like three months ago but it either fixed itself of it was the swapping keyboards

I had a similar issue, anytime I joined or created an online lobby, a duplicate of myself was in the lobby that I had no control over. I was however able to start games, the duplicate was a bot. I had multiple controllers unused plugged in to my PC, disconnecting down to one controller got rid of the bot for me.

well like you can see by my previous post that i solved the issue so like why are you responding 2 months later
